Privacy Policy

MovesBook is a personal training diary for breakers, operated by its independent developer ("we"). This page explains, in plain language, what data the MovesBook app and the movesbook.app website collect and what happens to it.

What we collect

• Account data. When you create an account: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile Google shares (name, email, profile photo reference). Used only to identify your account and sync your data.
• Your training content. Moves, sets, sessions, notes, battle records, images you add — everything you write belongs to you. It is stored on your device and synced to our database (Google Firebase / Firestore) so it follows you across devices. We never sell it, share it, or use it to train anything.
• Anonymous usage analytics. A small counter of feature usage (e.g. "a report was opened") tied to a random ID — never to your account, never containing your content. Each record auto-deletes after 90 days.
• Waitlist email. If you join the early-access list on the website: your email address and whether you indicated an Android device. Used for one purpose — contacting you about MovesBook's launch and beta. Unsubscribe with one click; we delete the address on request.

What we do NOT do

• No selling or sharing of personal data with third parties.
• No advertising, no ad trackers, no cross-site tracking.
• No reading of your training content for any purpose other than showing it back to you.

Where data lives

Data is stored with Google Firebase (Firestore), protected by security rules so only your signed-in account can read your data. Payments, when they launch, will be processed by the app stores (Apple / Google) — we never see card numbers.

Your rights

• Access & export: the app's Backup feature exports your complete data as a file, anytime.
• Deletion: you can delete your content in-app. To erase your entire account and all synced data, use Settings → Delete account in the app — this permanently removes everything from your device and our database, immediately and with no restore. You can also contact us to request deletion, which we complete within 30 days.
• Waitlist removal: reply "unsubscribe" to any email or contact us.

Children

MovesBook is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If we become aware that we hold data belonging to someone under 13, we delete it. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes with it, and material changes will be announced in the app.
