Getting started
New to MovesBook? Read these in order. In ten minutes you will know the four tabs, the + button and where your moves live.
- Install MovesBookGet MovesBook on your iPhone, iPad or Android phone, or open it in a web browser.
- Create an account or sign inMake a MovesBook account with Apple, Google or email, or sign in to the one you have.
- Use MovesBook without an accountStart training right away with no sign-up. Everything stays on this device, and you can make an account later.
- Find your way around the four tabsWhat HOME, MOVES, BATTLE and REFLECT are for, their sub-tabs, and the buttons in the header.
- Add your first moveSave a move to your library with a name and, if you like, a video, a photo or a link.
- Use the + buttonThe + in the middle of the bottom bar adds something to the page you are on. Here is what it opens on each tab.
- Search MovesBookFind any screen or tool, and search the text you wrote in notes, journals and plans.
- Use Undo, Back and other everyday controlsTips, UNDO, the unsaved-changes question, Far view, the screen staying on, timer sounds and the back button.
- Set up your profileAdd a photo and a nickname, and write down when you started breaking, your goals and why you break.
- Change the languageShow MovesBook in one of 13 languages.
- Change how the app looksPick a light or dark theme, make everything bigger or smaller, and choose the tab and library view the app opens on.
- Use MovesBook offline and on more than one deviceMovesBook works without internet. Signed in, your data also syncs to your account, so it follows you to other devices.
