Teach children

You teach children with the same class and the same join code. You don't set anything up for them.

How a child joins

1. You give the child your join code, as for anyone. See Invite students with a join code.
2. The child types the code and taps Ask my parent.
3. Their parent gets an email and says yes or no for your class.
4. You see nothing until the parent says yes.
5. After a yes, the child shows under STUDENTS like any student.

The child's side is in Join a class as a child.

Their name

A child does not type a name when asking. You see their nickname, or "Student" and four letters. The child can change their name in your class later.

What changes for you

• Feedback: students under 18 get a set phrase only, like Good work. There is no box for your own words.
• Video links: a child can't add a video link to homework.
• What they send you: a child can send homework, My Book and battles. Not notes.

Everything else works as for other students. The child does your homework, sends it and sees your shows.

If a parent changes their mind

A parent can withdraw their yes for your class. The child then leaves the class, and you no longer see what they sent to it.
