Record yourself on a move or a set

Steps

1. Tap MOVES, then VOCABULARY, then a move. For a set, tap SETS, then the set.
2. Under MEDIA, tap RECORD. The camera fills the screen and shows For and the move's name.
3. The first time, allow the camera and the microphone.
4. Tap REC and dance. A timer counts up to 3:00.
5. Tap STOP. The app shows Clip saved to and the name.
6. The recording opens in the player. Trim it with SET AS CLIP if you like, then close the player.
7. Close the camera with ×.
8. Tap CONFIRM on the move (or SAVE on the set).

Camera controls

• Switch camera: front (F) or back (B).
• Quality: 1080p or 720p.
• Delay: off each time you open it. Turn it on to watch yourself 5 to 90 seconds late. The recording is always live, not delayed.

You can't change the camera or the quality while recording. At 3:00 the recording stops by itself with Stopped at the 3-minute limit.

Record without a move

On MOVES › VOCABULARY, the WATCH MOVES tile has a REC button. It opens the same camera. After STOP, tap SAVE TO… to put the video on a move or set, on a New move, or Save for later. If you close without choosing, it is saved as a new move called "Clip" plus the date, in Uncategorized.

How many you can keep

Recording is free. Keeping is counted: free keeps 1 recording in any 24 hours, the same count as Replay Cam. When it is used, the camera shows 1 of 1 today. A recording stopped then is deleted, and the plans sheet opens. Premium keeps every clip. See plans and pricing.
