How saving works

MovesBook saves everything on your device first. It works without internet.

When you are signed in, your data also goes to your account in the cloud. It syncs when you are online. Sign in on another phone or on the web app, and it comes back.

What goes to your account

• Moves, categories, sets, links and battle plans.
• Sessions, battles, calendar, stance and My Book.
• Habits, notes, goals and HOME.
• Timers, workouts, rivals, spar setups and freestyle.
• Your profile, profile photo and settings, such as theme and language.
• Which creator packs you installed.

What stays on this phone only

• Videos, photos and audio you attach or record. They are copied into MovesBook's own storage and never uploaded.
• Injuries and your rest log. They are never sent to the cloud.

On another phone, a move still shows its attachment, marked Not on this phone. The file is still on the phone where you added it.

Without an account

If you use MovesBook without an account, nothing syncs. Everything is only on this phone. Make backups so you do not lose it.

Moving to a new phone

1. Sign in on the new phone. Your synced data comes back.
2. To bring your videos and photos on Android, make a backup with Data + media files on the old phone.
3. Copy the MOVESBOOK_FULL_ folder to the new phone.
4. On the new phone, restore it with FROM A FOLDER.
