Training
Build a Tabata timer
- Free
Set work, rest and rounds once, save the timer, and run it again whenever you train.
Steps
- Tap MOVES, then DRILL.
- Tap TABATA in the bar under it.
- Tap MY TIMERS.
- Tap NEW TIMER.
- Type a name under TIMER NAME, like "Footwork rounds".
- Set PREPARATION, WORK, REST and ROUNDS with − and +.
- Tap SAVE TIMER. You are back on MY TIMERS.
- Tap your timer, then START.
The defaults are 10 s preparation, 20 s work, 10 s rest and 8 rounds.
Set the times
- Tap a time to type it. Write 1:30 or 90 for 90 seconds.
- WORK and REST go from 5 seconds to 1 hour. PREPARATION goes up to 5 minutes, or 0 to skip it.
- ROUNDS goes from 1 to 20.
- No name? The timer is saved under today's date.
Name each round (optional)
Tap ROUND LABELS to open it. Type a name for each round's work and rest. The run shows the name and what comes next.
- Copy to… copies one round's names to other rounds.
- Add a rest after the last round adds one more rest at the end.
While it runs
- The screen shows the phase (PREPARATION, WORK or REST), the round and a big countdown.
- Beeps mark each change. The last 5 seconds of a rest beep, and you see GET READY.
- PAUSE / RESUME, SKIP and END & LOG are at the bottom.
- FAR VIEW fills the screen with one colour: red for work, green for rest, yellow for preparation. Tap it to turn it off or on.
At the end, add how it went and tap SAVE SESSION. DISCARD throws the run away.
Change or delete a timer
Tap the timer on MY TIMERS. The same screen lets you edit and start it. Tap the bin on its row to delete it.
