Your moves
Give a move a tension role
Tag a move as Flow, Build, Hit or Peak so your sets and battle rounds show their energy curve.
A tension role says what a move does to the energy of a round.
| Role | What it does |
|---|---|
| Flow | Connects moves, keeps things moving, gives breathing room |
| Build | Gains momentum, sets something up, raises the energy |
| Hit | Makes an impact, gets a reaction, shows your skill |
| Peak | The climax: your strongest moment in the round |
Steps
- Tap a move to open EDIT MOVE.
- Scroll to DETAILS and tap the Tension role row. In Simple mode, switch to Full first, or tick Depth under Settings › MOVES › Simple mode fields.
- Tap Flow, Build, Hit or Peak. Tap None to clear it.
- Look at "Where it sits in a round". It shows your move as the highlighted dot in an example round.
- Tap CONFIRM.
The role now shows under the move's name in your library.
Where you see it
- In a set: ROUND ARC draws the energy curve of the set, move by move. See Build a set.
- In BATTLE: the curve carries on when you put the set into a battle round. See Plan battle rounds and entries.
- In ALL MOVES: tap ⋯ (Tools) › Filter and use TENSION ROLE.
